Whole cows’ milk from the grocery store works very well for baby goats. Babies should also have access to a shallow pan of water, soft grassy hay, and a loose mineral made specifically for goats. NO GRAIN/PELLETS for wethers
2-4 weeks: 6-8oz of whole milk 3x/day
4-8 weeks: 10-12 oz of whole milk 2x/day
8-10 weeks: 12 oz 2x/day
10-12 weeks: 12 oz 1x/day
Bottle babies are picked up by 4 weeks old or deposit is forfeited and the goat will be placed back up for sale.

No. Goats are herd animals, and therefore will not thrive without other goats. Other species like horses, chickens, etc. will not be a good substitute. Larger animals can and will injure these little goats.
Fences should be a minimum of 4 ft high, and some clever goats, can use objects in their pen to jump over this. 2x4 wire mesh will keep babies secure. Fences should be secure along the bottom as goats will squeeze under loose areas.
I prefer to castrate at 7-12 weeks.
CDT is a necessary vaccine for goats. Babies receive their first dose at 6-8 weeks and should have a booster about 4 weeks later. Adults should be vaccinated at least annually.
